Liquids . The liquids of cars are the blood of their mechanics. Ask when the last change was made and if you have papers or invoices that bear witness. Changing them is cheap, but solving the problems they may cause is more expensive. The oil should not be too black or too viscous. The brake fluid, if it is in poor condition will be very dark. As for the antifreeze liquid, there are different colors depending on the brands, so it is advisable to check that the level is appropriate. If not, it could indicate a leak.
Change. The gears should not have gaps between them and should enter smoothly. In neutral, step on the clutch. If it makes noise, it may be necessary to change the fluid in the gearbox. A trick to check the condition of the clutch is to put the handbrake, put the second gear and try to start the march. If it does not clog, the clutch is worn and will have to be replaced soon.
